FAB.COM TURNS STRAIGHT GUY GAY

Watch this commercial for Fab.com. It's an enjoyable commercial, fun to watch but like many entertaining commercials, I doubt it will be effective in actually selling the product.

The plot: A hot, straight guy wakes up late. He springs to the window and to see his girlfriend has just arrived at his undecorated, messy NY apartment. He discovers he has the Fab.com touch and whatever he touches turns into hip, trendy and colorful home furnishings. He even touches himself and completes the transformation from hot straight guy to hot Chelsea boy. When she sits down on the couch next to him at the end, I expected him to touch her and transform her into a muscle bear from the meat-packing district.

PERFECT TIMING

Yesterday, the Tired Old Queen at the Movies posted his review of Sining in the Rain. This provided me the perfect opportunity to post this VW commercial. It took several viewings before I realized that the men were Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor. It's quick, enjoyable and the progression of technology continues to amaze me. This more so than, say, Avatar.

WHY GIVE A DIAMOND WHEN YOU CAN GIVE THE FAMILY JEWELS?

Here is an enticing PSA from CBS Cares. It's only 16 seconds and would be better if he said, "the one you love" instead of, "for your woman." I don't recognize him. Anyone know who he is?
 

BUT THIS IS SOOOOO CUTE!

I know we're supposed to still hate Target, even with that homophobe they supported loosing, but this is so cute and such a nice change to all the negative news and events. It's very quick and is something my Trampy does every now and then.



FYI - I noticed that YouTube has new size options for embedding but the smallest width, 560, was still too big. You can customize the size so it fits, you put in the width and the height is automatically adjusted. 425 seems to be the correct size for my blog and YouTube will remember your new setting!
