PASSENGER PICKUP: AUSSIELICIOUS

I was introduced to Aussielicious by Buddy Bear of One Step At A Time and Kelly of Rambling along in life... when they wrote about their respective entries into The Aussielicious Self Portrait Contest.

After casting my vote, I explored Brenton's blog and found in filled with beautiful photographs and intelligent and fun writing. I'm still exploring but I think a Jeep and Aussielicious sound like a perfect match for days of sun and fun. So take a trip down under and when you see Brenton, tell him Sean dropped you off.

In his own words:
Outgoing, I love to challenge myself, spend great time with my friends and family. Trying to taste a bit of everything that life has to offer. Put me on a beach and I relax instantly, take my clothes off too and I’m completely relaxed.
I’m a graphic designer by training and also an aspiring amateur photographer. A typical Libran, I’m obsessed with beauty and try to find it everywhere.
Aussielicious was born in November 2005 as a way to keep my international friends up to date but quickly evolved into a flesh filled bit of fun, not to be taken too seriously. I’m the one at a party being politically incorrect and making jokes, a lot of the time at my own expense.

One of Brenton's photographs.

You can preview Brenton's book and purchase either the hardback version
or the e-book version from Blurb by

PASSENGER PICKUP: MAYBE IT'S JUST ME...

I've read Maybe It's Just Me... by Wonderman for years. We have similar interests but he loves comic books and superhero movies and brings a fresh perspective to today's politics, news and entertainment stories. The fact that I never really read comic books should tell you about his ability to hold his readers' interest. He has great taste in music and is in the middle stages of publishing his first graphic novel.

In his own words:
I'm very laid back and easy going. I like to meet people, read, talk about politics, culture and life. I am a huge comic book fan (X-Men family and Wonder Woman) I also want to say that I am a proud black gay man...no 'down low' drama here.
He posts every day, multiple times a day. Maybe it's just me, but I think you should stop by and when you do, tell Wonderman that Sean dropped you off!

PASSENGER PICKUP: ONE STEP AT A TIME

One Step At A Time is Buddy Bear's later in life journey from married father of three to out, and out on the town, proud gay man. In his words:
I'm a middle-aged out gay guy from British Columbia, Canada and the father of three teenagers. My wife found out I was gay three years ago and we've been separated for two. Our divorce should be final in two months. In the past year, I've tried to balance an exciting slut phase with having my kids living with me much of the time. Lately, I've been busy dating ... a whole new can of worms!
That can of worms tends to be hot twenty-somethings who Buddy lustfully details his adventures with in his search for love/satisfaction and his new identity and punctuates with NSFW pics. But it's not all sex, Buddy is in the final stages of his divorce, has 2 of his 3 teenage children living with him most of the time (the 3rd is in university) in his house on the lake and shares his challenges of being a high school teacher.

You can see why all the Canadian boys and men from other countries want this hot father of 3. Not just a body, he is witty, intelligent, reflective, optimistic and responsible. He posts almost daily and responds to most comments. So grab your passport (better safe then sorry) and stop by for a visit. Tell him Sean dropped you off.

PASSENGER PICKUP: THE CLOSET PROFESSOR

Steve Walker's 200, "David and Me"
This blog will stir your creative juices, stimulate your thinking and satisfy your urges.

The Closet Professor is a blog dedicated to GLBT Studies: History, Art, Literature, Politics, Religion and Culture. There are a wide range of topics, mainly whatever strikes JoeBlow, as he identifies himself, at the moment to write about. Most posts include tasteful/artistic photos of men which help illustrate his topic.

The Closet Professor is a graduate student (working on his PhD) and a teacher (high school and college adjunct) who lives in the South. His life is not always easy. Sometimes he finds it quite stressful, but his blog helps him to procrastinate and (sometimes) get his creative juices flowing. Life will work out the way it is supposed to in the end, you just have to be patient.

PASSENGER PICKUP: KENNETH IN THE (212)

I've been reading kenneth in the (212), by Arizona refugee, Kenneth Walsh, for almost as long as he's been blogging - over 7 years! He is one of my must read blogs and not just because I'm a New Yorker. I'm from Long Island so when it comes to NYC I'm as much a tourist as anyone - maybe even more so. Yes, he does write about life and living in NYC but then what blogger doesn't write about where they live? Kenneth also writes about Blondie and Debbie Harry - he could be their biggest fan and promoter, he loves music - mostly from the 80's, tennis - especially sexy male tennis players, nail salons - not going, just posting their pics, entertainment, news, politics and as a former writer for the NYT he has an inside perspective to the collapsing world of print journalism. You'll find the front pages of the more prominent and popular newspapers and well as the LGBT Media. He often attends and reports from most of the NY LGBT events, plays and nightlife. If that wasn't enough, he greets every day with morning wood! (yes, it's what you think).  Take a trip to the (212) and stay a while, tell'm Sean sent you.

Finally, in his own words, "Writer/editor living in Manhattan (so you don't have to). My blog covers pop culture, politics, books, celebrity, music, tennis, New York City, LGBT issues, small adventures -- and is filled with writethrus galore ..."

PASSENGER PICKUP: FREE 2B..SMOKEY & ME !!

I came across free 2b...smokey & me !! about a month ago. It is a blog for all seasons and about men, politics, men, entertainment, men, videos, men, humor and more men. the 'Vintage Hottie' formerly known as O!Daddie has been blogging for over a year and does numerous posts throughout the day. You never know what you're going to get but you do know you'll leave satisfied. Don't let the former name mislead you, this is not a daddy's blog - the men cum in all ages, positions, degrees of muscle and hairiness. Definitely NSFW.

PASSENGER PICKUP: BOSGUY

I've read BosGuy for years. I can't remember how I found it but BosGuy is one of my can't miss blogs. BosGuy is Rob and he lives in and loves Boston but BosGuy is so much more than restaurant, nightlife and shopping must sees and reviews. Rob mixes in political news and happenings with the personal and you can always find a hunk or two hanging out. Don't miss his Temtation Tuesdays or Brain Teaser Fridays. He did a great photo campaign for Washington's marriage Referendum 74, everyone on the internet has seen his pics and video of Boston's Annual Santa Run and below is a pic of him and his partner at last year's NO PANTS Subway Ride (which rides again this Sunday). He posts several times a day and responds to most comments. Stop by for a visit, but pack a bag or two, I'm sure you'll stay a while.

PASSENGER PICK UP: PETER OF TIPPIN' THE SCALES

Tippin'n The Scales
Peter is a 55 year old man from Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I love his tales of his travels around his beloved city, his adventures with his sister's dog Julius when he comes to visit, his Post- it quotes and his Food Quotes. In June 2007 a lap-band was placed around his stomach. In his blog he'll keep you up-to-date of what is happening in his life, his weight, his BMI and other things he thinks you would like to know. Stop by and say hello.

PASSENGER PICK UP: BILL IN EXILE

When you log into Bill In Exile you never know what you're going to see or read and this is a good thing. The blog is actually written by Scott, Bill's friend, who started the blog. Scott is a New Yorker now living in Seattle and Bill is his oldest friend who just finished serving an almost 7 year prison sentence for selling meth.

Bill in Exile originally contained letters written between Bill and Scott while Bill was in prison as well as a bunch of other shit but Bill has, as of late, opted out of contributing and Scott has just been too lazy to change the name of the blog. (Scott's words, not mine.)

These days, you'll get strongly opinionated political commentary, a history lesson on the military (Scott served in the Marines), remembrances of his life as a gay man in NYC during the 80's and 90's, and more and lots of porn. I've been a reader for almost two years now and Scott always satisfies.

PASSENGER PICK UP: ANOTHER MILE MARKER

Meet David of Another Mile Marker. I started reading David's blog 6 or 7 weeks ago and it continues to grow on me. Rather than tell you about David and his blog, I'll let him do it in his own words of which there are many.

I try to keep it fun, but it's a place for me to think aloud honestly... to ponder, share and vent. And being that I am a gay male, some of the content may reflect that in a tasteful (most times) and respectful manner to all. If you have a problem with that, please check out the home page of the NRA, Christian Coalition, NASCAR, The Daily Mullet, Wal-Mart, or Sarah Palin. If you don't have a problem with it, please stay seated, secure your articles and keep your hands inside the car for the duration of the ride.
I live by the mantra "A man with no baggage has been nowhere" (which, coincidentally, I made up)... When I hear someone say 'leave your baggage at the door', what they are really saying is that they don't want to know the real you... or only the fun parts. I believe the experiences that we go through mold us into the people that we are, so the more you've endured, the more diverse you are. The trick is to move forward by analyzing, learning and doing what you can to not make the same mistake again, but own your crazy. It's who you are.
Words that describe me: Romantic, realist, sarcastic, care-giver, dog person, humorist, gay, Gemini, bleeding-heart Liberal, Democrat, contortionist (ok, well, not the last one)
I enjoy the outdoors... camping, hiking, biking, kayaking and just taking rides to no particular place, since I love to drive. I like mocha frappucinos, Fall, the smell of a puppy, all animals (especially dogs and except snakes (eek!)), architecture, Pooh (as in Winnie the), Reba, Smarties (the candy), arts and crafts, retro anything, cute scruffy-faced guys in flip-flops with nice feet, Bill and Hillary and Barack, rubbing my woobie (blanket my Mom made for me), dark chocolate, Glee, finding the cool spot under the covers, cuddling... and reading $85 worth of trashy Hollywood magazines for free at the Barnes and Noble over a $4 coffee every week... to see who's whoming who...
I dislike crowds, cigarette smoke/kissing a smoker, drugs and calling them 'meds', pickles and most condiments, arrogant people that can't back up their game, snakes (eek, again!), manly-muscle narcissistic guys, people who can't spell "narcissistic", watching the news (too depressing), bad hygene, organized religion, unorganized religion, unorganized people, TomKat, Spiedi, Brangelina, Bennifer, SoBo, and any other celebrity pairing with a 'cute' combined name. Bush, Bush and Bush (and Cheney, too) Palin, Palin and Palin (and Beck and Rush, too).
