I thought it was really good but not great. The opening monologue was brilliant, the NPR skit was my favorite and I even thought the MacGruber bits were funny. I will say that I didn't find a single skit worthy of cringing or hitting the ff button. Most times I'm lucky to watch 25% of the show.
I do question all the gay jokes - although I'd still do Will Forte even in that outfit and mustache. Also, I think they needed to use a bigger font on Betty's (it seems strange for me to call her Betty) teleprompter/cue cards. I was distracting to see her lean in and squint but I won't hold it against her.
