Turn Back Time - Sun Nov 1st@ 2 am
Your halloween party is going to be extra special this year. At 2AM, you'll get to fall back and have an extra hour to do however you please. If you need a suggestion, you can watch this PSA. In it, the very attractive British man strips buck naked as he describes what he is going to do with his hour.
If you don't want to do that as "You turn back time," you can use your hour as, Cher does, to take back all those things you've said and he'd stay.
Whatever you decide, be sure to take a few minutes to change the batteries in your smoke detectors so if this guy needs to pay you a visit, you'll be ready for him.

V on Syfy

Lila lives in Lakewood, Ohio in an apartment not far from her folks. She graduated Cleveland State University several years ago and is still working in her first job as a customer service representative for MetroMart, a major corporation in Cleveland. She hates working and admits to having no ambition. Her goal in life is to be the wife of a wealthy man and never work again. She’s not even sure if she wants children. Winning the lottery would be ideal, but she keeps forgetting to play.
Boyd Thompson
Boyd is Lila’s GBFF (gay best friend forever) from childhood. He knew he was gay in high school and came out fairly early in life. It is not a big issue for him and prefers to be identified by his good looks and not his sexuality. He also went to Cleveland State University, lives in the same apartment house as Lila, and works with Lila as a customer service representative for MetroMart. He, too, doesn’t want a career and wants to marry Matthew McConaughy, once California finally approves gay marriage.

Drew is also a childhood friend of Lila’s. She scored very well on her SATs and while Lila and Boyd went to CSU, she went to Kenyon College, an upscale private school in Ohio. She lives near Lila and Boyd in Rocky River, Ohio, and also works for MetroMart, but as a customer service manager. She wants it all -- a career and a family -- and tries her best to motivate Lila.

Preppy and of blue blood, Michal Mamalas is that summertime seaside fling that we just can’t seem to get out of our minds. Fully dressed the eye is lured down to his dark jeans and lace up nike sneakers. Rolling up the cuff and peeling back the sock we are greeted with a small patch of ankle that almost makes us blush like a 18th centaury bather. Crunching his feet they wrinkle around the toes and arch. Smiling all the way, Michal is one model we would like to see more of.

There is only one way to describe David Kalina and that is, damn fine. Cherub faced and with an underlying self confidence that just drips with sex he is a real force to be reckoned with. His feet are small and pale. Underused and almost dainty they rub together causing the skin to turn white upon contact with itself. As the blood rushes back into place David teases us still more as he wriggles his toes and arches his ankle leaving our jaws on the floor and our mouths gasping for more.

Another Reason Why Brothers & Sisters Shouldn't Reproduce
Holy f**k. I am having a hard time even writing anything because I just can't believe that two people really could be so dumb. This is mind boggling. The two idiots you see above were arrested in Iowa. Why were they arrested? The pair had tried to break into a residence and were spotted. The cops found them a few blocks away. The marker on their faces? It is their masks. Yep. They thought no one would recognize them in their magic marker masks and fake beards.
In addition to the burglary charge, the guy with the real beard was charged with drunk driving. Apparently he was drinking real beer and not some imaginary painted one disguised to make you think it was real beer. Thanks CDAN

In Honor of President Obama Signing the Mathew Shepard Act
I saw Melissa perform this at the Millennium March in DC. Once she took the stage, I kept thinking, "she has to do Scarecrow." When she starting singing it, I was unprepared for my reaction. I started crying, and then bawling and then I was outta control. I don't know why, I'm lucky enough not to have been close to any victims of gay bashing but the lyrics are INTENSE.
I was at the concert with my ex (and still very close friend) and he did all he could do to console me but my crying was so dramatic that at least 6 or 7 strangers began consoling me as well and for the duration of the song and my crying, they comforted and hugged me.
This was the first video I looked at for this post and that was enough. I was crying all over again. I need to call Ross whom I will always love. Thanks for the video Michelle.

A message for those who choose to bash and attack gay people
This is for all you hate filled people who feel the need to spew your venom at people who live their lives different than your own. There is no bigger indication of self-hatred and deeply rooted fear than when a person throws hate and anger upon the world.

With a full body spandex suit covering his rippled muscles he goes through his whole routine moving from exercise to exercise while exhibiting every last angle of his tight body. Focusing on his feet, the camera picks up the smallest details so that it almost feels like you are only inches away from these beauties. Finishing up with his feet wrapped around a heavy weight he shows that they too, are well toned and strong as an ox.

Wrapped tightly in back and white cross trainers and hugged up and over the ankle by two black cotton dress socks, these babies are just longing to get out. Out in the fresh air his skin glows like a peach, ripe and dusted with light fuzz. Squeezing them together they press white under the pressure but as the blood rushes back to the surface they reclaim their appetizing color.

Getting Greener
I try to be green or to reduce my carbon footprint but some things are harder to do than others.
Easy: I'm not in a postion to replace my Jeep - it gets about 17 mpg on a good day but then I have only driven 53,382 miles since getting it in June of 2002. I live two blocks from work so i don't have to drive or even take public transportation.
Very Easy: I use reusable bags for all my shopping - including trips to CVS, Petco and the ABC store. I used LED or fluorescent lightbulbs.
Easy: I recycle, do all my laundry in cold water (I buy dark colors for towels and underwear so I don't have to do white loads or use bleach,) I try to buy products that use recycled paper or plastic, I try to buy locally grown produce and/or organic.
Hard: I have always said it is easier to put on a sweater or coat buy you can only get so naked. I'm a very warm person and at night I'm like a furnace and where I live, if you open your windows, you either get a ton of pollen or a ton of soot. So I use the AC a lot - during the spring, summer and fall I have the AC on but I balance it out by never turning the heat past 60 during the winter.
Hardest: My latest attempt to go greener involves shaving. Like most men (bears excluded) I shave about 5x a week. I have since I was about 14. I don't have a fast growing beard but it's full and was dark auburn colored until a few year ago when my chin hairs started turning gray (no more goatee or soul patch for me.) The hair on my arms and legs is very blonde, my chest hear is black and the hair on my head would be a mix of mousey blonde and gray if I didn't used Loreal Light Blonde 01, Extra Light Ash Blonde - Cooler. So I'm calico and yes, the carpeting matches the drapes but no grays yet.
I use a new blade every 10-14 days. If I go longer than that, my shaves aren't as smooth and I'm more likely to get nicks. A 5 pack costs about $15 and over the course of a year it adds up - to about $85, however the bigger cost is to the environment.
First, the blades come packaged in enough plastic to survive an eternity which you need a really good pair of scissors to get open. Second, blades are not recyclable. Third, it takes a lot of hot water ( I shave in the shower, I've tried the sink but just can't.) Forth, shaving cream - no matter what kind you use you are using more chemicals and packaging. So this week I purchased an electric razor - The Braun Series 3 electric razor.
From what I can tell, there is no difference in the quality of the shave among the various models but the cost varies from $120 - $260. Also, with the series 3, you have to clean it your self. So far it has been a bit of an adjustment. First, you have to shave BEFORE you shower. I forgot once and couldn't finish shaving that morning. Then, it shaves my face well enough but not my neck. I've had to shave my neck twice as a touch-up. I'm thinking this is temporary until my neck hair adjusts to the cutting pattern of the razor. This week I hope to find some tips for getting a better shave on the web.
