Tonight is supposed to be the world wide awareness protest of Joseph Kony - the #1 most wanted war criminal IN THE WORLD for his crimes against children: killing them, abducting them, rapping them, making them murderers, making them sex slaves and more. Protesters around the world are supposed to cover the world with Kony's name and image putting pressure on governments to capture and end Kony's reign of terror.
There has been a lot of negative press and backlash - the public breakdown of Jason Russell, a co-founder of Invisible Children and leading character in the video and possible funding from anti-gay organizations. If you Google Kony there are more links saying he has been dead then there are about the event; however, according to an article by NPR it is the event that might be dead. It is also curious that IC picked the Day of Silence to conduct this protest.
