Ryan is best know as Jason Stackhouse - the good-looking, out-to-stud, not-so-bright brother of Sookie Stackhouse in True Blood. True Blood begins it's 5th season next Sunday, June 9th on HBO. Season 4 was just released on Blu Ray and DVD last week.
True Blood is loosely based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. Yes, they have the same main characters and the plots lines are basically the same but that's all. Ryan's character and story lines are much more fleshed out, THANK YOU ALLEN BALL, in the HBO series then in the books. After the first book, the tv show and the books are so different that you can enjoy both without ruining the other. I'll have a Kindle review on the Sookie Stackhouse novels later this week.
